The gondola effortlessly takes 8 passengers every 10 minutes over the Trift Gorge from the Gadmen Valley. The gondola was once soley used by the power company, but has been opened to the public to bring visitors up to the start of the hiking trail up to the Trift bridge and hut. The swingbridge spans 170 metres across the gorge and offers magnificent views of the turquoise-blue glacial lake and the glacier. Well worth the nerves !
