The new Hospiz (newly renovated hotel) 
If you are looking for comfortable accommodation of a high standard in the midst of the alps, then this is the place for you!  The St. Gotthard Hospiz originates from 1237 a.d. and is listed as a building of «European Cultural Heritage». It has recently been renovated by the architects Miller & Maranta and offers 11 double rooms, 2 single and 1 multi-bed room with 5 beds in it. The rooms all have showers and WC.

This historical site has inspired many generations of famous personalities such as Goethe, Graf von Cavour, Honoré de Balzac and Petrarca, to whom the rooms have been dedicated. The Hospiz is heated by an ecologically friendly hydro-extractor, as proof of the perfect fusion between traditional and modern.

Hotel San Gottardo (simple guest house) 
If you are looking for quality and value for money then you will be well served to visit the Hotel San Gottardo. The hotel is well kept and is an excellent place for families to spend some quality time in the mountains, or for a «pit stop» while underway. Cosy accommodation to suit sport’s enthusiasts, families or travellers. The Hotel Hotel San Gottardo has double and multi-bed rooms with 5 – 7 beds with a total of 70 beds altogether. Showers and WC’s are communal on each floor.

We serve typically Swiss meals in our restaurant and on the terrace from where you can take in the breathtaking panoramic views at 2,100 m.a.s.l.
